I just bought myself some of these Pierre Herme. It was my first time eating a macaroon. My take: They’re really sweet. Not it a sickly way, but more than two at the same time was a bit too much to handle. Definitely my favorites were the ones with chocolate, since somehow made the sugar diminish in density. My ultimate favorite was the black currant and chocolate one. I will love to try some more soon.
OH, BY THE WAY: I’M IN VERSAILLES PEOPLE!!!
