La Via dell’Amore La Via dell’Amore is a small pedestrian road in the edge of a cliff int he side of the ocean that unites two of the five Cinque Terre together. But most importantly, it is the road where people go to celebrate and swear their love for each other. A couple shall bring a locket to place somewhere along the road, lock it as a symbol of their everlasting love and throw the key into the ocean below. Then they shall kiss and and the to the land on the other side. Pretty poetic… I really wish I remembered why it started. All i remember is that it had something to do with pirates.
